Now Hiring for Several Security Positions!

STR8 UP is looking to hire for several positions, including unarmed security guards and those interested, who have experience in crowd control, de-escalation, and whom have a history of consistency. Scheduling is flexible with many shifts being weekend positions for Friday and Saturday. All shifts are at minimum 4 hours long, with starting and end times ranging from 6:00pm-2:00am.

To be successful, applicants must meet these minimum requirements:

  • Professionalism – You must be willing to commit to being presentable, groomed, and prepared for each shift.

  • Honest - Transparency is necessary to fostering an effective employee/employer environment.

  • US Citizen/Resident Alien

  • Basic computer skills and ability to use a smart phone

  • Physical capability – though unlikely, you still need to be physically up to the task of ejecting individuals from the premises, breaking up altercations between guests, or restraining an individual for a crime.

Extra Qualifications (viewed as a plus, but are not requirements for employment):

  • Previous venue/festival security experience

  • Reliable transportation

  • Bi/multi-lingual

  • First aid certification

  • OC (oleoresin capsicum) certification

  • Active unarmed security guard license with Washington State Department of Licensing
